Miami based architecture and interior design firm

GWY Studio is an architecture and interior design firm based in Miami, FL with deep expertise in luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality. It was founded in 2015 by Galit Wainberg.

Originally from Venezuela, Mrs. Wainberg received her degree in architecture from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and started her career at Studio Sofield, where she developed a well-trained eye for furnishings, specialty finishes, and decorative styling. There she was able to work on ultra-luxury residential projects for private high net worth individuals in Manhattan and the Hamptons and retail projects including the Harry Winston, Bottega Veneta, and Tom Ford stores in NYC.

In 2013 Mrs. Wainberg relocated to Miami, FL to join Alan Faena’s team as design manager, developing the Faena District in Miami, FL. There she worked on furniture and finish selections and project supervision for the Faena Hotel, Faena House, and Casa Claridge’s (now Casa Faena.)

Since its launch in 2015, GWY Studio has primarily focused on luxury residential real estate with projects across South Florida including ground-up single-family homes, upgrades/additions, and full apartment renovations.
